Those look horrible for a car that is only a few years old. My pedals have 144k and 13 years on them and are only showing minimal wear.

It’s a Nissan. I’ve seen plenty of Jukes with faded paint, peeling clearcoat, and bumpers/trim falling off. All mainstream brands cut corners somewhere in their economy models... pedals in my Subaru don’t look much better and it’s a ‘14 with 56k on it.
